Why Did I Set Up This Bog? Why? Why? Why?
This blog was set up as a way to stay connected with my music students over the summer. We all know that students loose some of what they were taught over the long summer break. By talking about music in this blog I hope my students will keep "thinking music" until we meet again in August. For those who have graduated, I hope this blog will help them to remember to continue with their music studies in Middle School and in High School.

I believed that I had posted a comment similar to this a little while ago, but cannot find it now. So, here it comes again. I admire teachers who prepare and send home with the students packets of work to keep the students current over the summer. You have taken this principle one very big step further. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteIf I can figure out this blogging "thing" I think my students will be encouraged to stretch their imaginations and exercise their learned verbal, written, and musical skills. We'll see how it goes. If you would like to recommend articles for us to read and discuss, feel free....
